The purpose of the DSAB Emergency Fund is to provide financial assistance to individuals with Down syndrome and their families. The funds are limited and will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. They are available to individuals who are unable to obtain help through other social service channels and need something tangible that will help solve an immediate problem. The maximum amount of assistance is $500 per year.
All awards are subject to the DSAB Emergency Fund Policy. Determination is not made on the basis of race, color, creed, sexual orientation, marital status. Recipients must live in Brevard county. The DSAB Emergency Fund will pay a maximum of $500 per individual with Down syndrome per year. Please allow 14 days to process the application.
